Cyber Camp Details

Q1. What will I learn?

A. The program is divided into 3 days. Each day will have a specific focus area.

• On day 1, you will learn how cybersecurity impacts everyone irrespective of your carrer choice . You will understand the basic terminology in cyber security. We will explore different domains within cybersecurity and understand how vast the field is. We will see a day in the life of a typical cyber security analyst will look like. We will look into the basics of computing  and networking.

• On day 2, We will explore the pre-requisites of cyber security. Understand different tools and technologies you will need, to become a professional cybersecurity analyst.

• On day 3, we will dig deeper with several demos of hacking tools. You will do hands on work with some tools to get a feel for the field of cyber security. By the end of day 3, our goal is to make you fascinated by the field of Cyber Security!!

Q2. Who will be teaching the courses?

A. You will be taught by an industry expert who has over 10 years of experience in cyber security. Our instructors are certified Cyber Information Systems Security Professionals. They have experience teaching master’s level computer science related courses.

Q3. What do I need to attend the class?

A. Access to typical video conference software like zoom is a must.

Having a windows-based operating system will help you with doing hands-on exercise. It is not mandatory, but will be helpful to follow along the exercises. Our classes are 2 hours long, so make sure you are free from distractions for the 2 hours you are with us to ensure you get the best of the class.

Q4. Will material be shared after class.

A. Students are encouraged to take notes. We will share resources needed to continue learning after the camp. Class will not be and should not be recorded. By signing up for class you agree to not share any of the contents and material with anyone.

Q5. Is there cancellation fee?

A. Our courses are charged a minimal fee compared to market prices. We will be happy to address any issues. In order to manage credit card and other processing fee, we charge a 10% cancellation fee on all transactions.
